Questions

  • Plan to arrive at the gym 15 minutes before class to fill out the wavier and meet the coaching staff. Receive instruction on the technique of the week. Partner up and drill the technique. The last 30 mins of the class are spent live rolling with those who would like to participate. Participate on what ever level you are comfortable with.

  • Loose fitting shorts and a tee shirt. No jewelry. A water bottle and flip flops.

    No shoes are to be worn on the mat at any time. No bare feet off the mat at anytime.

  • Stretching and warm ups before transitioning into the move of the day. Near the end of the session transition into rolling.

  • Respect everyone.

    Clean personal hygiene with finger and toenails clipped.

  • Gi: A traditional uniform consisting of a jacket, pants, and belt. It allows for grips and specific techniques

    No-Gi: Practiced without the traditional uniform, usually wearing shorts and a rash guard or a tee shirt.

  • Classes are filled with individuals from all ages and physical abilities.

    The most important thing is approach your training with a positive attitude and to work within your abilities.
